Very soon at Cebitepal: new end-of-year courses to grow in your service within the Church

The Cebitepal Theological Center is preparing a new round of end-of-year courses, with hybrid, synchronous, and asynchronous training, 30% scholarships, payment in installments, and the first class free. 

These will be completely online courses, with schedules compatible with pastoral work and a methodology that prioritizes listening, dialogue, and practical application in the own context. A training designed with a synodal key: learning in community and learning for the community.

This cycle brings together topics that look at the past and present of the Latin American and Caribbean Church. There will be discussions about the history of the Church on the continent, the inculturation of faith and the process that is currently advancing towards an Amazonian Rite, the mission in digital environments, artificial intelligence viewed from the pastoral perspective, and the role of women in the life of the Church.

All these topics point to the same question: how to be a Church with its own face on the continent, capable of dialoguing with its history, its peoples, and the changes that today traverse the life of communities.

Among the trainers will be Agenor Brighenti, Brazilian priest, coordinator of the Theological-Pastoral Reflection Team of CELAM and expert in the Conferences of Santo Domingo and Aparecida and in the Synods of the Amazon and Synodality.

Pedro Trigo, SJ, a theologian and Jesuit residing in Venezuela for decades, a reference in Latin American theology and reflection on the Church from the perspective of the poor and grassroots communities, will also be present.

Joining them are Mons. Lucio Ruiz, secretary of the Dicastery for Communication and one of the voices behind the process "The Church listens to you"; Heriberto Cabrera Reyes, SDB, doctor in Practical Theology and researcher in artificial intelligence applied to pastoral care; and Luis Jiménez Rodríguez, SJ, doctor in Fundamental Theology and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, who works on the dialogue between science, technology, and faith.

Alongside them, communicators and pastoral agents with experience on the continent, such as Albertina Navas, Verónica Brunkow, Pablo Savoia, Marco Salas, Mauricio Artieda, and Agustín Podestá.
